This Victorian terraced house is close to the sea front and has beautiful elevated views of Borth y Gest bay and Snowdonia mountains from the lounge and external decking area.

4 BEDROOMS:
Bedroom 1: one double bed with en-suite bathroom, WC and shower cubicle (Ground Floor).
Bedroom 2: two single bed and a cot, cot linen is not provided (1st Floor).
Bedroom 3: one single bedroom with a 4' 6" wide bed but with access only from one side (1st Floor).
Bedroom 4: Bunk beds with views of Borth y Gest bay (1st Floor).

Another lovely stay at the quarterdeck. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We love staying in borth y gest is like a home from home . Hope to be back again in the foreseeable future .

This was our second trip to The Quarterdeck. The property is beautifully placed to enjoy the most wonderful view and is well looked after and was spotlessly cleaned. There was a small problem which was quickly resolved. Thank you.

The property was perfect for our stay of 5 adults and 2 children. The large kitchen/living area with the terrace off was a perfect space to eat, play and relax. The Grandparents had the downstairs bedroom with bathroom and this worked well. The bed is not large so if you are used to a king size it can seem a bit small. We managed to park outside and walked from the house to the harbour and beach. The small play area a short walk behind the house was a hit with the children. Negative is the wi fi and signal, a bit patchy but our children were young so not a problem but we couldn't get the smart TV to be smart! We really enjoyed our stay especially on sunny days as the view is spectacular.

We have just returned from another fabulous week at Quarterdeck. It’s such a lovely home, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The view is amazing and it’s so very quiet and relaxing. It’s my go to spot in lovely Borth Y Gest.

Nice view. Good location. Had to clean toilet and shower before use. Disappointed the owners tried to charge us for a faulty dishwasher door, be careful of attempted charges!

We are very sorry to hear some 5 months since your booking that the standard of cleanliness was not acceptable. Had you reported this on arrival the cleaner, who is a local resident, would have returned to the house immediately to deal with the concerns you identified. Immediately after the Guest's departure, it was the dishwasher door only opened halfway. We contacted the Guest to ask them what they knew about this. We pointed out that the Owner was entitled to claim the repair costs for damage done by them, and that if they wanted, we could take money from the Pre-Authorisation that we held as a Good Housekeeping Deposit. The Guest replied that the dishwasher was in working order when they left and that they did not accept being liable for any damages. NO FURTHER CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE GUEST, NO CHARGES WERE TAKEN AND THE DISHWASHER DOOR WAS REPAIRED FOR THE NEXT GUESTS.

Ideal location & parking in the street was no problem. Coming in from a walk and still being able to enjoy the view of the bay, even in the rain, was great. The kitchen is well stocked but the washing machine didn't work. I have reported this, so the owners are now aware. We would definitely recommend The Quatrterdeck and look forward to returning again soon.

My family with 3 adult children had a relaxing and very pleasant stay over Christmas at Quarterdeck. House well equipped with spacious bedrooms and a splendid location overlooking the bay.
Too bad the sun did not join. Great place to visit North Wales beaches and mountains.

Excellent location and generally comfortable and well equipped. Milk and bara brith on arrival much appreciated. A few niggles: broken hinge on kitchen cupboard (reported), only one front door key and no way to unlock back gate. Overall however a very enjoyable stay, despite the weather!

The Quarterdeck is by far our favourite property to rent in Borth-y-gest. The bi fold doors open right across the deck allowing access through the house to the breathtaking views of the beach, the cob and the steam trains.
The open plan downstairs allows the family to all be together. Four well appointed bedrooms (nice quality bedding!) and two bathrooms - one bedroom downstairs worked well for grandparents, with the bathroom en suite for them.
The kitchen was well stocked with all pots, pans, plates etc. Plenty of books to read and a huge cupboard of games to work through.

We had a fantastic week at Quarterdeck. Having stayed at a couple of other properties in Borth y Gest this one is definitely my favourite. Spacious, well appointed but also homely and comfortable. The view over the bay from the lounge and deck is stunning and in a week of sunshine and rain, it was great to retreat to the lounge to watch the rain and clouds whistle by. We were lucky enough to see an Osprey hunting over the estuary over breakfast one morning too. Perfect.

Excellent. Only issue was that we were unable to open the windows in the downstairs bedroom, which was needed in the hot weather. One was locked shut completely and the other one was locked open a tiny amount.

The house is very happily situated in a street at the end of which one can go on a stroll to the beach, and the views from the living room are incredible. The house was very clean upon arrival, the accomodation was superb and the beds were all comfortable. The kitchen has everything one needs for self catering, and there are plenty of eateries and shops close by in the car. Perfect starting point to explore Snowdonia!! I would recommend without hesitation.

Enjoyed this particular holiday let for over eleven years, approximately twenty weeks of stays in this period. Difficult to find any negatives!

Noticed neighbours understandably getting touchy regarding the parking, several now dictating there parking frontage with cones to deter. Also previously approached to move car when outside a neighbours frontage. Unfortunately the downside of living in a popular tourist destination.

This was a productive and enjoyable week. There was an issue with the cleanliness. The crockery and cutlery had not been washed prior to our arrival and was in a dirty state. I assume that the previous group(s) did not use the dishwasher and that the cleaner did not fix this on the changeover day. This was the first time this has happened to us in when staying in an STS property.

The stay worked well overall. The new double bed/mattress and furniture in the downstairs bedroom is a big improvement. We also appreciated the coffee making facility provided. The mix up over the bedding on arrival was unfortunate but quickly rectified by the helpful STS staff. We plan to return when the weather is warmer in May.
